Unit
58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade
14th Army Corps
The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky was created during the war to protect the Ukrainian people. The combat path of the unit passed through the defense of settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and since February 24, 2022, the "Vyhovtsy" have been crushing the aggressor on the approaches from Chernihiv to Bobrovytsia, and later in the Bakhmut direction, in the Chernihiv region, near Kupiansk and Lyman. Since September 2023, the brigade has been fighting in the Donetsk region. The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade continues the glorious traditions of Hetman Vyhovsky, who defeated the Muscovites in the 17th century near Konotop, because he believes that the protection of our dear Ukraine and people is the business of every conscious citizen. Everyone is able to make a significant contribution in defense of the state and capable of feats.
