Responsibilities
- cooking for military personnel in compliance with safety and quality standards
- menu planning based on field conditions and available products
- providing a nutritious and balanced diet in accordance with the needs of the military unit
- maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards
- storage of products and control over their freshness and quality
- work with field kitchen equipment and ensuring its serviceability
- interaction with the command for timely receipt of products and other support
Requirements
- work experience as a cook or specialized education (cook, pastry chef)
- knowledge of the basics of cooking, cooking standards, basic food processing techniques
- knowledge of sanitary and hygienic standards and food storage skills
- physical endurance and ability to work under conditions of increased load
- responsibility, organization and ability to make decisions quickly
- experience in conditions of limited access to resources (field kitchens, hiking conditions) will be an advantage
