Responsibilities
- providing medical assistance to military personnel
- conducting an initial examination and assessment of the condition of victims
- providing emergency care within professional competence
- participation in the stabilization of the wounded and sick
- preparation of victims for further evacuation
- maintenance of medical documentation and accounting
- control of availability and completeness of medical equipment
- preparation of the medical center for work
- compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements
- interaction with doctors, combat medics, orderlies and evacuation teams
Requirements
- appropriate medical education
- experience as a paramedic is desirable
- knowledge of the basics of tactical medicine and pre-medical care will be an advantage
- ability to make quick decisions under stress
- good physical fitness and endurance
- responsibility, attentiveness and discipline
- readiness to work with wounded and sick military personnel
- experience in military service will be an advantage
- readiness for service under a Combat Contract or transfer through the Army+
- fitness for military service according to the conclusion of the VLC
