Combat medic

Responsibilities

first aid: assessment of the condition of the wounded, stopping bleeding, applying bandages, immobilization, carrying out resuscitation measures if necessary
transportation of the wounded between medical points and evacuation points
maintaining medical records: recording data on the condition of the wounded and the assistance provided
maintaining the medical center clean and ensuring sanitary and hygienic conditions
cooperation with other medical professionals and military personnel

availability of a diploma of completion of a medical educational institution (doctor, paramedic, medical brother/sister)
knowledge of the basics of military medicine, first aid skills and maintaining medical records
ability to work with medical equipment, readiness to act in extreme conditions
high responsibility, stress resistance, humanism, ability to work in a team
physical training and endurance
experience in the medical field will be an advantage

mobilization until the end of martial law or service under an infantry assault contract (14 months for civilians; 10 months for active military; from 6 months for military personnel released during martial law)
guaranteed delay after completion of the contract – 6 months, for each month of performing combat missions – three months in addition to the delay
in case of signing a contract by an active serviceman: additional 6 months. deferment for each year of service from 2022 until the signing of this contract, additional 1 month for each year of service until 2022
guaranteed additional payments: from UAH 27,000 to UAH 33,000 (depending on military rank) – paid once a year for signing a contract; from UAH 20,000 per year – payment for health improvement
the possibility of transferring active military personnel
cash allowance from 30 000 to 460 000 UAH depending on the time of stay in combat positions and performance of tasks (accrual for each day of stay in combat positions + bonuses under the contract for each destroyed or captured enemy)
provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, proper nutrition
guaranteed annual paid basic leave of 30 days + additional leave of 10 days for family reasons
social benefits in accordance with the current legislation
qualified support at all stages of mobilization or transfer before taking office
the opportunity to get acquainted with the commander and the unit before making a decision, without the risk of forced mobilization
