Combat medic

Responsibilities

providing first aid and first aid to the wounded (MARCH PAWS algorithm)
primary stabilization of the condition of victims
preparation of the wounded for transportation, coordination of actions with evacuation teams
monitoring the condition of the victims until they are transferred to medical units
regular audit of first-aid kits (IFAK) and medical property of soldiers of their unit
conducting classes and briefings on tactical medicine for the personnel of the unit

fitness for military service due to health, physical endurance
high level of self-control, willingness to act and make decisions in extreme conditions
ability to work in a team
medical education/courses or specialized work experience will be an advantage

mobilization until the end of martial law or service under an infantry assault contract (14 months for civilians; 10 months for active military; from 6 months for military personnel released during martial law)
guaranteed delay after completion of the contract – 6 months, for each month of performing combat missions – three months in addition to the delay
in case of signing a contract by an active serviceman: additional 6 months. deferment for each year of service from 2022 until the signing of this contract, additional 1 month for each year of service until 2022
guaranteed additional payments: from UAH 27,000 to UAH 33,000 (depending on military rank) – paid once a year for signing a contract; from UAH 20,000 per year – payment for health improvement
the possibility of transferring active military personnel
cash allowance from 30 000 to 460 000 UAH depending on the time of stay in combat positions and performance of tasks (accrual for each day of stay in combat positions + bonuses under the contract for each destroyed or captured enemy)
guaranteed annual paid basic leave of 30 days + additional leave of 10 days for family reasons
social benefits and incentives in accordance with the current legislation
provision of equipment necessary for service
training from scratch, further professional training and training, career opportunities and professional development
possibility of service for candidates with the status of IRF
