Combat medic

Responsibilities

providing first aid in combat conditions (stopping bleeding, applying bandages, ensuring airway patency, etc.)
organization of sorting of the wounded according to the severity, ensuring safe evacuation and escorting to the stabilization point
coordination of medical care for the wounded in the field
accounting of medical devices and control of their use
medical training of the personnel of the unit (instructions, trainings)
planning and organization of medical support for military operations of the unit

sufficient level of physical training
readiness to work in the zone of active hostilities
responsibility, attention to detail and the ability to make decisions quickly
readiness to study and work according to international standards of emergency medical care
experience of military service as a combat medic will be an advantage
CLS level courses (CMC, CPP, Medevac) will be an advantage

mobilization until the end of martial law or service under an infantry assault contract (14 months for civilians; 10 months for active military; from 6 months for military personnel released during martial law)
guaranteed delay after completion of the contract – 6 months, for each month of performing combat missions – three months in addition to the delay
in case of signing a contract by an active serviceman: additional 6 months. deferment for each year of service from 2022 until the signing of this contract, additional 1 month for each year of service until 2022
guaranteed additional payments: from UAH 27,000 to UAH 33,000 (depending on military rank) – paid once a year for signing a contract; from UAH 20,000 per year – payment for health improvement
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
full provision of ammunition, medicines and necessary equipment
annual basic leave 30 days + additional leave 10 days for family reasons
social protection and guaranteed life insurance for 15 million
the opportunity to obtain the status of a participant in hostilities
opportunity to undergo additional training in tactical medicine
professional team and support of colleagues
service in a legendary unit with combat experience since 2014
