The 4th Separate Medical Battalion of the 3rd Army Corps of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began its journey with a volunteer movement during the defense of Kyiv in 2022. Together, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade passed the most difficult tests: from Zaporizhzhia and Bakhmut to Avdiivka and Kharkiv region. Subsequently, they scaled up to the 4th Separate Medical Battalion, where experience is combined with respect for each person. In the unit, a medic is given the opportunity to work professionally, and a soldier - to feel that he is cared for at every stage. Today, the battalion has a surgical hub, where they provide conditions for timely and high-quality surgical interventions, and doctors have everything they need to work. There is its own Blood Bank - here they do not wait for help from the outside, and they themselves organize work with blood on the basis of the medical battalion and carry out transfusion precisely when it is critically important for rescue. There is its own outpatient clinic and VVK - here they value the time and health of fighters: they undergo examinations without unnecessary queues and bureaucracy, in the circle of their comrades. There is support and logistics - from the preparation of medical documentation to the provision of everything necessary for recovery.
