2nd Motorized Infantry Battalion "Wolves" of the 57th Separate Motorized Brigade

The 2nd Motorized Infantry Battalion "Wolves" appeared in 2014 as a volunteer formation. Its basis was professional military, motivated volunteers and veterans of peacekeeping missions. Since 2014, the battalion participated in the liberation of Toretsk, then - the defense of Horlivka, the battles for Debaltseve, Zaitseve, Mayorsk and Pisky. The battalion met a large-scale invasion with the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade: it destroyed the enemy in the directions of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, liberated Kherson region, defended Bakhmut and Kupiansk, and since May 2024 the unit has been holding Vovchansk. In 2025, the "Wolves" became the 2nd Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. The team went through the battles in forests, plantings and city ruins - it has experience in conducting war in different conditions and with different opponents.
