Responsibilities

conducting geodetic measurements on the ground (relief survey, landmarks, coordinates)
preparation and updating of maps, schemes for command
providing units with accurate coordinates for artillery, engineers, intelligence
work with modern technology and programs (digital topographic systems)
participation in combat and training tasks

knowledge of the basics of geodesy, topography, cartography
ability to work with GPS navigation, theodolites, rangefinders, topographic devices
knowledge of specialized software (ArcGIS, AutoCAD, QGIS - depends on the unit)
high attention to detail and spatial thinking

mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
the possibility of service for candidates who, according to the conclusion of the VLC, are suitable for service in military support units, TCC and SP, higher educational institutions, training centers, etc.
