Responsibilities

ensuring trouble-free operation of power units of towing motor boats, managing them during crossings and managing the work of motorists
start, stop and control of the operating parameters of the motor
accounting of fuel consumption, lubricants and spare parts
regular maintenance, prevention and repair of entrusted power units
coordination of the actions of motor drivers and crew of the boat
organization of assembly and disassembly of ferry crossings and floating bridges, as well as monitoring compliance with water safety rules
control of a towing motor boat during towing of pontoon links, formation and breeding of bridge crossings
interaction with other pontooners of engineering troops during the crossing of water obstacles
ensuring accurate positioning and keeping ferries on the current during the transportation of military equipment and personnel

ability to adapt and learn quickly
knowledge of the structure and operating rules of the main engines and auxiliary mechanisms

mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
the possibility of service for candidates who, according to the conclusion of the VLC, are suitable for service in military support units, TCC and SP, higher educational institutions, training centers, etc.
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
possibility of service for candidates with the status of IRF
