Reconnaissance Gunner

Responsibilities

performance of combat missions as part of the unit
reconnaissance of the territory, detection of enemy forces and objects
observation, collection of data on the movement and basing of enemy troops
orientation on the ground and on maps
transfer of information to the command center and other units
cooperation with snipers, artillerymen and other military specialists to perform common tasks
knowledge of the characteristics, structure of the components of fixed weapons, engineering, military and other property
constant maintenance of weapons, equipment and ammunition in combat readiness

fitness for military service due to health and moral and psychological qualities
readiness to work directly in the zone of active hostilities
high military discipline and responsibility
willingness to constantly learn and improve knowledge and skills
ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations
good physical preparation
experience of military service is desirable (WAC 168646A/281)
accurate shooting skills will be an advantage

mobilization until the end of martial law or service under an infantry assault contract (14 months for civilians; 10 months for active military; from 6 months for military personnel released during martial law)
guaranteed delay after completion of the contract – 6 months, for each month of performing combat missions – three months in addition to the delay
in case of signing a contract by an active serviceman: additional 6 months. deferment for each year of service from 2022 until the signing of this contract, additional 1 month for each year of service until 2022
guaranteed additional payments: from UAH 27,000 to UAH 33,000 (depending on military rank) – paid once a year for signing a contract; from UAH 20,000 per year – payment for health improvement
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
opportunity for career growth and development, training and advanced training
cash allowance from 30 000 to 460 000 UAH depending on the time of stay in combat positions and performance of tasks (accrual for each day of stay in combat positions + bonuses under the contract for each destroyed or captured enemy)
