Responsibilities
- providing medical care to military personnel
- ability to check visual acuity, measure intraocular pressure (tonometry) and eye condition using special devices
- the ability to provide first aid for eye injuries, flush tear ducts, remove foreign bodies
- examination of the fundus and retina (ophthalmoscopy), including pupil dilation
- diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory processes, injuries and eye diseases (cataract, glaucoma, retina)
Requirements
- complete higher medical education
- availability of a valid medical specialist certificate
