Responsibilities

identification and assessment of social needs of servicemen and members of their families, organization of assistance in solving problematic issues of social protection
social support of servicemen who are undergoing treatment, rehabilitation, were injured, sick or need help, ensuring interaction with medical institutions and a military unit
advising military personnel and members of their families on social guarantees, payments, benefits, medical support, military medical examination, rehabilitation and other issues of social protection
support of family members of servicemen who died, went missing, are in captivity or released from captivity, assistance in restoring documents, receiving appropriate payments, benefits and social services
organization of interaction with state authorities, local self-government, health care institutions, social services, public, charitable and volunteer organizations to provide social support to servicemen and their families
providing consultations to servicemen who are discharged from military service on psychological, legal assistance, social and professional adaptation to civilian life
providing feedback to servicemen and members of their families, studying their needs and satisfaction with social security and informing the command about problematic issues

Requirements

higher education in the specialty "Social work" will be an advantage
education in "Psychology", "Law", "Sociology", "Public Management and Administration" or other related specialties with relevant experience or additional training in the field of social work
knowledge of legislation in the field of social and legal protection of servicemen and members of their families
knowledge of the procedure for implementing social guarantees, payments, benefits, medical care, treatment and rehabilitation of military personnel
practical skills in organizing social support and counseling for military personnel and their families
the ability to analyze social problems, identify ways to solve them and coordinate the interaction of relevant officials
skills in preparing official documents, reports, references and analytical materials
experience of interaction with public authorities, local governments, medical and social institutions, public, charitable and volunteer organizations will be an advantage
military service in officer or sergeant positions will be an advantage
experience in the field of social protection, social services, psychological or legal assistance will be an advantage
experience with military personnel, veterans and members of their families will be an advantage
experience in organizing and coordinating the work of subordinate personnel will be an advantage
