Responsibilities

control over fire damage
coordination of the use of fire weapons for the purpose of fire impact on enemy targets
determining the priority of fire targets
coordination of actions of EIA forces and means in the area of responsibility
command of appropriate artillery units
advising the commander on all issues of fire support
ensuring the effective operation of the fire support coordination point

the rank of officer
readiness for service in the combat zone
suitability for military service
experience in related positions will be an advantage
