The Machine Gunner

Responsibilities

mastering and training the use of a machine gun to maintain the firepower of the unit during combat operations
participation in the preparation and maintenance of the machine gun under the supervision of experienced military instructors
studying the tactical principles of combat and following the instructions of the leadership for the effective performance of tasks
compliance with military rules and standards for the safety of the use of firearms and combat

mobilization until the end of martial law or service under an infantry assault contract (14 months for civilians; 10 months for active military; from 6 months for military personnel released during martial law)
guaranteed delay after completion of the contract – 6 months, for each month of performing combat missions – three months in addition to the delay
in case of signing a contract by an active serviceman: additional 6 months. deferment for each year of service from 2022 until the signing of this contract, additional 1 month for each year of service until 2022
guaranteed additional payments: from UAH 27,000 to UAH 33,000 (depending on military rank) – paid once a year for signing a contract; from UAH 20,000 per year – payment for health improvement
conducting training and training in special courses to obtain the necessary military skills
service as part of a military unit under the guidance of experienced military instructors
cash allowance from 30 000 to 460 000 UAH depending on the time of stay in combat positions and performance of tasks (accrual for each day of stay in combat positions + bonuses under the contract for each destroyed or captured enemy)
