Commander of the Communications Platoon

Responsibilities

organization, deployment and provision of uninterrupted digital radio communication (DMR) and satellite systems at battalion command and observation posts
control of the personnel of the platoon of communication, distribution of tactical tasks and control of their implementation
integration of modern situational awareness systems and transmission of video streams from UAVs into a single unit control network
monitoring of the situation, interaction with EW / EW units and implementation of measures to counter enemy electronic suppression
organization of maintenance, operational repair and administration of communication facilities of the unit

officer rank (or readiness to undergo certification / leadership courses to obtain it)
understanding of the principles of building modern military communication networks (radio, satellite, wired) and IT infrastructure
basic knowledge of network architecture (TCP/IP, routing, VPN) and experience in configuring network equipment will be a significant advantage
experience with Motorola, Harris, Starlink equipment, etc.
high level of responsibility, leadership qualities, ability to make quick logical decisions in conditions of high psycho-emotional stress
willingness to constantly learn and integrate non-standard technical solutions

mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
possibility of service for candidates with the status of IRF
basic cash allowance from UAH 25,000 to UAH 125,000, depending on the tasks and place of service
provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment and proper nutrition
guaranteed annual basic leave + additional leave of 10 days for family reasons
