UAV Platoon Commander

Responsibilities

the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Platoon Command
management of personnel performing tasks of piloting unmanned aerial systems within military operations
responsibility for the combat readiness of the platoon, combat training, education, military discipline and moral and psychological state of the personnel of the platoon
support of equipment, weapons and ammunition in combat readiness
observance of military discipline and execution of combat orders
collection, analysis and transmission of relevant information to the command staff
development of strategies to achieve the tasks set

availability of officer rank
knowledge of different types of UAVs and their performance characteristics will be an advantage
readiness to work in the zone of active hostilities
ability to work in a team
fitness for military service due to health and moral and psychological qualities
the Higher Education
willingness to constantly learn and develop
responsibility, attentiveness and ability to make quick decisions

mobilization until the end of martial law or service under an infantry assault contract (14 months for civilians; 10 months for active military; from 6 months for military personnel released during martial law)
guaranteed delay after completion of the contract – 6 months, for each month of performing combat missions – three months in addition to the delay
in case of signing a contract by an active serviceman: additional 6 months. deferment for each year of service from 2022 until the signing of this contract, additional 1 month for each year of service until 2022
guaranteed additional payments: from UAH 27,000 to UAH 33,000 (depending on military rank) – paid once a year for signing a contract; from UAH 20,000 per year – payment for health improvement
cash allowance from 30 000 to 460 000 UAH depending on the time of stay in combat positions and performance of tasks (accrual for each day of stay in combat positions + bonuses under the contract for each destroyed or captured enemy)
providing training or improving skills, providing the necessary support to gain sufficient experience and skills
proper medical care
vacation according to the schedule and in the presence of family circumstances that are determined by law
legal support and psychological support
attracting candidates with combat experience in 2014-2024 directly to the unit without passing the BZVP (optional), if necessary, professional training is guaranteed
