Commander of the EW Department

Responsibilities

organization of combat work of the department, placement of personnel in positions, setting clear tasks and monitoring their implementation
tactical planning: determining the optimal points for the deployment of EW systems, taking into account the terrain and directions of approach of enemy UAVs
monitoring the operation of trench and mobile means of electronic suppression, analysis of radio air and detection of operating frequencies of the enemy
establishing clear interaction with commanders of adjacent units and own UAV crews (air reconnaissance) to avoid "friendly fire" on the air
control over the technical condition, proper maintenance, masking and prompt repair of equipment assigned to the department

presence of a sergeant rank or readiness to undergo training / leadership courses to obtain it, experience in command of a unit / group (both in civilian and military life) will be an advantage
thorough understanding of the principles of radio engineering, radio physics (frequency ranges, antenna types, interference, signal amplification)
experience in working with spectrum analyzers, SWR meters and directly EW complexes
high level of discipline, leadership qualities, the ability to quickly make logical decisions and take responsibility in stressful combat conditions
the desire to constantly develop, because the "war of frequencies" requires daily training and adaptation

mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
possibility of service for candidates with the status of IRF
basic cash allowance from UAH 25,000 to UAH 125,000, depending on the tasks and place of service
provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment and proper nutrition
guaranteed annual basic leave + additional leave of 10 days for family reasons
