Responsibilities
- the Mortar Command
- organization of coordinated work of personnel
- preparation of the mortar to perform tasks
- control of the technical condition and serviceability of weapons
- distribution of responsibilities between service numbers
- control of availability and condition of ammunition
- interaction with the platoon commander and other calculations
- organization of maintenance of the mortar
- compliance with safety rules when working with weapons and ammunition
- maintaining military discipline and readiness for calculation
Requirements
- sergeant rank or readiness for appointment to a sergeant position
- experience in military service will be an advantage
- experience of service in mortar or artillery units – preferably
- knowledge of the structure and principles of mortar weapons
- leadership and organizational qualities
- responsibility, discipline and stress resistance
- ability to quickly make decisions and manage personnel
- readiness to work as part of a mortar unit
- readiness for service under a Combat Contract or transfer through the Army+
- fitness for military service according to the conclusion of the VLC
