Engineer Platoon Commander

Responsibilities

organization and control of engineering arrangement of command and observation posts, shelters for personnel, caponiers for motor vehicles
control of earthworks and fortification equipment of positions
accounting of engineering property, control of the technical condition of excavators and other engineering equipment of the platoon
organization of work of crews of engineering equipment and ensuring its effective use
conducting reconnaissance of routes of advance and areas of firing positions regarding the permeability of equipment and the presence of explosive objects
planning and control of the installation of mine-explosive barriers to cover the positions of units
ensuring the passage of vehicles through difficult areas, arrangement of access roads and their masking
training of personnel in mine-explosive business, engineering training and actions during work in the fire zone
responsibility for the technical condition, accounting and preservation of engineering property and equipment of the unit

specialized engineering education (military or civil in the field of construction / architecture will be an advantage)
knowledge of standards for the construction of field fortifications and the basics of mining
experience in working with engineering equipment and understanding of its operation features
ability to assess the terrain in terms of defense, camouflage and placement of firing positions
skills in organizing and controlling the work of personnel during engineering work in a short time

mobilization until the end of martial law or military service under contract
the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
the possibility of service for candidates who, according to the conclusion of the VLC, are suitable for service in military support units, TCC and SP, higher educational institutions, training centers, etc.
possibility of service for candidates with the status of IRF
cash allowance from UAH 25,000 to UAH 125,000, depending on the performance of tasks and combat orders
provision of all necessary means and equipment
