Responsibilities
- development of features in their domains — from model and CQRS-handlers to controllers
- writing and optimizing SQL queries on large tables (PostgreSQL, participation, EXPLAIN)
- work with OpenSearch: queries, aggregations, understanding of the ETL pipeline
- integration and support of messaging with Python-services through RabbitMQ
- participation in code review, code coverage with unit tests
- documentation of architectural solutions, analysis of production issues
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience on Node.js / TypeScript
- NestJS (or Express/Fastify with an understanding of DI and modularity – readiness to dive into Nest quickly)
- DDD / CQRS – understanding of principles and willingness to work in this paradigm
- PostgreSQL — complex queries, JOINs, indexes, basic understanding of EXPLAIN
- Message Broker (RabbitMQ / Kafka / SQS) — async-processing, retry, idempotency
- OpenSearch / Elasticsearch — basic experience or willingness to learn quickly
- Git flow and working through MR/PR
